Book design for Michalis Patsouras’s photographic project 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. (1993–2000), documenting everyday life inside the Greek Ministry of Commerce, where the photographer worked as a young technician. Through evocative black-and-white photographs, Patsouras captures a world of paper files, typewriters, worn-out furniture and employees caught between routine, exhaustion and small moments of joy. The design draws inspiration from the bureaucracy of another time: a monospaced typeface evokes a typewriter, archival folder paper wraps the book, and the cover features an employee’s hands holding a pen and a cigarette.
